Golarrolê Redesign

Golarrolê is a brazilian event production agency based in Recife, that was unintentionally drawn to the LGBTQIA+ audiences primarily. Famous by making some of the best parties in the region, some with national appeal, they started with PUTZ, the first party label back in 2006. After 10 years, with 10 different labels and more than 500 nights in their portfolio, they've decided it was time for a brand update.

The brief was: keep it simple yet bold, maintaining the already established black & white aesthetic. Since they have so many labels, each one with its particular visual identity and audience, the Golarrolê logo and its Visual Identity should work as a neutral umbrella brand stamped in every label marketing item such as flyers, instagram posts, tickets and so on. Even though the logo usually appears in small formats, it had to be readable, recognizable and maintain some of the characteristics of the old lettering.

_ The word is PERSONALITY. And to maintain it, a custom lettering was design to replace the older one. For that, some attributes, like the filled letters and the basic silhouette stayed, but new shapes were introduced to make the logo bolder and simpler.

_ For the 10 Year anniversary, the lettering was adapted from the main logo
and gained some textures, that were used randomly throughout a whole year.
